  • @SeanDeigh13 I listen to it because it sounds awesome. Who cares if it's no longer cutting edge?

  • Minimalist music, inncssant repetition of short musical motives. Some people may not appreciate it as much because they don't know what minimalist music is. I appreciate it because I've learned about minimalism and I think the reason why some don't appreciate it as much is because it's not the kind of thing that's in the top charts. But if it was, we would get used to it and eventually start to like it.

I think people find it hard to like something they've never been exposed to.

  • this song makes me want to climb up a mountain and stab the shit out of a dragon, well played sir.

  • Heard this in the last hour of "Other Voices, Other Sounds" on KUMN 89.9 FM in Albuquerque, NM. I cried, such tear jerk-er.

  • (゚д゚)good performance!!

  • @ChocolateCakeLady I think minimalist music can be described as having a percussive element to it.

  • @ishouldplayzelda yeah there's something about these pieces that makes me love them too. its kinda hypnotizing :)

  • @ChocolateCakeLady the first phasing song i've ever heard was 'adrenal vapor' from the portal 2 soundtrack. then i found piano phase. i loved them both immediately :l

  • @SeanDeigh13 : 500y old music is also performed nowadays But I understand what you mean !! No harm in it, as you say. :D

  • if this hasnt already its worthy to be put into a film

  • Some of the comments are nonsense, simply because we don't reserve performance of music strictly for pieces which were written yesterday and which bear no relation to any music which came before them. We perform and listen to the music we like, and when music is new and relevant, we call it a PREMIERE.
