One stupid call and I end up alone

Messed up plans I set in stone
I sang at the top of my lungs dancing around like
and idiot.My doorbell rang so i hurried and turned down
the music a little bit and i was still dancing when i tried
to run to the door but i ended up falling over my couch
and smacked my kneecap on the wood floor.
"Ahhhhhhhhh" i screamed then my front door swung
open i couldn't realize who it was my eyes began to
water from the pain.
I felt his strong arms pick me up and set me on the
couch.Trying to clear my tears i saw nick in my kitchen
get me a bag of ice.Seeing him there brought back
old memories.
When were together he had to always get me ice
because i was always falling.
"what happened" he asked as he lifted up my legs
and sat underneath me placing the ice on my knee.
"you know how i love dancing to all time low,well
i guess i got carried away this time" i said
"luckily i was here to help you" he said
"yeah" i said
"you know thats one thing i do miss about you
how clumsy you are and i always have to come and rescue
you,but now you have a new rescuer" he said looking at
me.
My heart race was pacing his hand was resting on
my thigh and i thought to myself.
"Why aren't you with Joe or Miley" i asked him
"Well me and miley broke up and why would i be
with Joe? he asked with a confusing look about
his face.
"Well don't you want to check on your aunt" i asked
"oh i wasn't home in time for my mom to ask if i wanted
to go" he said with an unsure face.
He took off the ice pack and started to examine my
knee."i think we should take you to the hospital" he said
I sprang up from the couch and hobbled over to the kitchen.
"No way i'm not going you know i hate hospitals" i said
"yeah i know but you don't want it to get any
worse than it is" he said
"NO" i said
"yes" he said
We went back and forth for a couple more yes and No's
like always he won this fight.Just like old times but every
time he would win he would always kiss me.
It made it feel a little awkward between us.I just grabbed
my jacket and he helped me to his car.
We talked the whole ride there and the whole ride
back.I found out i had just broke a little piece of
my bone in my knee cap.I had to stay on crutches
for about two weeks.
"No i so beat you in guitarhero so many times" I said
"No you so cheated only because you did it on easy" he
said and he began to smile and laugh like old times
My phone began to ring and i seen it was Joe.
"hello" I answered
"Sara where are you" Joe asked
"oh hey joeybear i had to go to the hospital" i said
"What why what happened" he said in a panic voice
"I tripped over the couch thats all" i said
"wait who took You?" he asked with curiosity
"Nick" i simply said
"what nick" he said sounding angry
"yeah look babe we'll be in home in like ten minutes
so just wait for me OK" i said
"yeah OK" he said hanging up on me
"hey did you and Joe get in a fight or anything" I asked
"no why" he asked
"no reason he just sounded mad when i said you took me"
i said
"i don't know,Sara are you happy?'' he asked while he
turned down the music.
"Am i happy?" i asked
"With Joe" he replied
