It was also an effective weapon because of the accuracy of its bombing tactics and coordination with the ground forces. Radios played a huge part in what was then new technology. Hard to imagine now, but radio communication was not an easy thing back then. I have a siren on it and will be installing a more common type to see if it makes a sound that is more like the type that most people think of. A lot of legend surrounds the StuKa.

I have been invited to many shows and have attended those that I can. Weather is a factor as well as time. The City of Portland, Maine, is having a show this June at their airport and I plan to attend that one. The reaction to the Stuka is not universally positive although people who are interested in that period of history do seem to enjoy seeing it.

Thank you very much for your kind words. Yes, this is sadly the only version flying that I am currently aware of. I know that a replica flew in Russia but I am not sure of its status. I would love to see it fly over Europe or England as well.

I have alot of respect for you, what a plane! Sadly the only flyworthy stuka? Why don't you take it to airshows (battle of britian / ww2 flights) it would be great to see the stuka make a return over english skies!!

As far as I know, this is the only Stuka model still flying. I saw film of a model in Russia but I heard that it is not now flying.
This looks like the same 3/4 scale Stuka that I saw some two decades ago. Even the late great Hans Rudel had a chance to see it. Still looks great but someday I like to see a full scale Stuka fly.
