the supplies hanging off the Mayo stand are considered contaminated and need to get off your mayo and off your field.

your instruments are very good. love how neat they are all set up. dont know why that are facing that way when they should be facing you. but good.

I can't wait for your upcoming videos. Im a surg tech student in my last semester and this was really helpful. We're on surgical procedures 2 and 3 and Lap- coli is one procedure that we're focusing on, so this was sooo helpful and great to see. Things clicked more after seeing this and hearing your brief yet complete description of what a lap-coli was and what will be needed and what needs to be considered. Thank you again.

@erbrown Extern is going ok, its a lot of ego there and the surg tech is not welling to teach you, the nurses and doctors are awful acting. Some treat you as you are a big dumbey. Just go in hold your head up, dont over think, and be nervous as much, do your best and know why you are there to learn and make money to improve you lifestyle. I hope this helps you, I wish ppl would have told me the truth and not sugar coated and lied about extern. Keep me posted on your extern...Good luck

Wow. This is awesome! I personally truly appreciate the fact that you're taking the time to film this. I'm a new tech. About 3 months in. Everyone has a HUGE HUGE ego. Not many techs are willing to teach me without putting me down and talking shit. Same goes with nurses. Not ever gonna give up tho. Still loving this field!! Thanks again!

Being a new tech, lap chole happens to be the most consistent involvement and has become a procedure of choice. I have mastered the steps, but still weak at set-up. This was very helpful. Not to panic was also very beneficial advice. Thank you very much. A good abservation by jolinejb is supplies hanging off the mayo stand.
