I have COPD diagnosed; August 2010. I was a smoker (Med term: 40/pack and stopped immediately which has been a huge help!) Parents had allergies/asthma which I inherited. Also exposed to other environmental irritants and live in Denver (mile high/thinner O2). My O2 saturation has gone from 72 to 94 in 80 days. I take meds including low dosage Oxygen Therapy (known as "end stage" therapy)
as needed and I exercise. To anyone worried about COPD, get medical help and realize there is hope.
