SWGEmu Atmospheric Flight

Some footage of atmospheric flight from the Nova Test Centre for SWGEmu, it's early but it's nice.

Heres an official word from the devs: "Atmospheric flight is nothing "new". This uses the same code as JTL but replacing the "space" zones with a "planet" one and adding terrain collision detection.

This took 5min to implement without counting the required JTL code."...from TheAnswer

So to anyone's concern about it ruining the game, taking time etc. PS I doubt it will be on most emu servers but it will be another possible feature, so enjoy it while its on the TC!

so i logged in to the nova server went to the starship terminal at the starport/shuttleport and when ever i clicked launch ship or chose a place to travel to it woudnt launch so i tried it with my data pad and when i tried to launch the ship the game crashed so i tried it again and it crashed again

OH MY GOD! This is the real reason why Sony is shutting down the servers, they can not compete with a free version of a mega-super version of SWG. It has nothing to do with SWTOR and everything to do with SWGEMU. You guys are my (s)heroes!

T-16 Skyhopper. If we could have ONE canon ship to get about in SWGemu, please please please consider modelling a T-16 Skyhopper for generic distribution (similar to the Landspeeder and the Speederbike). I'd be ok with no firing to just get this crucial door open in-game. Please, please consider moving forward. (dreaming of the day I'll be able to race to (a) Docking Bay 94, dash up the ramp to my YT-1300, close the ramp, take off and fly off-world... someday ... being paid to make deliveries...
