On the 7th Februuary 1964 The Beatles left Britain for America and an estimated 4 thousand screaming fans were at Heathrow airport as the plane took off. When they landed at JFK Airport they were greeted by another vociferous crowd. Two days later they appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show and were watched by approx 4 million people, this is part of that show.
