The ponderance of the nihilist viewpoint. Some viewers consider surrealism to be nihilistic, although it is largely self-expressive.

Nihilism is prominent in poetry but can sometimes cause depression. Nietzche wrote, besides that "God is dead," that a certain element of dread exists. This is due to the apparent purposelessness of existence. People find their own purposes.

What I find interesting about nihilistic philosophy is that it has a place in humanism. The individual under a nihilistic perspective may feel that he or she has more freedom of choice and action, and can pursue a more personally valid way of life for one's own self ...

thanks, I thought about what you said. Actually, I don't think this way about nihilism anymore. Initially I was depressed but now it makes me a critical thinker instead and I'm more free.

I think you meant to say EVERYTHING there the OPPOSITE way you did. As a writer, who struggles with mental illness, I can assure that there is not an active community of people who decide to "become Nihilists' so that maybe they can experience Depression.
