Here's part 3
- Dal?! Johanna screamed
- Jojo?! Dalia screamed back. They had been the best of friends before Johanna had been transferred, but figured that it was no use in staying in touch because of Johanna's aunt and uncle. They would never let her see Dalia again anyway. But Dalia wasn't her only best friend. The 19-year old Danielle had also been best friends with them. They had been three inseparable obsessed Jonas Brothers fans.
Johanna ran up to Dalia, hugging her tight, Dalia hugged back and kissed her cheek.
- Girly, what are you doing here? You live like 6 hours away from here, Dalia asked. She was 18 and Johanna was 15, but it didn't matter, they were as close as sisters.
- I could ask you the same! You live in San Francisco, not in New Jersey! Johanna felt a tear roll down her cheek. Oh COME ON, not again! She thought to herself.
- Hey what's wrong? Dalia asked. That did it. Johanna felt every little thing she had been going through since the day her parents' died, get the best of her. She fell into Dalia's arms and cried hysterically. Dalia led Johanna over to a couch and sat on it with her. She stroke her hair and held her close. For the first time in a long time Johanna felt what it was like to be comforted by someone who really loved her. Love being sisterly love.
- Hey, you wanna talk about it? Dalia asked in a quiet voice. She already knew the answer.
- NO, Johanna said and went back to sobbing. Dalia sighed and took Johanna's face in her hands, forcing her to look in Dalia's eyes. She could tell that Johanna needed to talk about it. She just needed to figure out a way to make her want to.
Nick had walked out of the room once he had realized that Dalia had everything under control. He sat in the kitchen staring at an orange as his brothers sat down next to him.
- Where did you meet that beautiful girl? Kevin asked suspiciously
- Her name is Johanna or Jojo if you were listening to Dal and I met her about 20 minutes ago. Why?
- Because you are falling in love with her, Joe said looking Nick in the eyes.
- What do you mean? Nick said a little too fast revealing the fact that Joe had been 100% right. Jojo was breath taking with her long brown hair and perfect body. Gorgeous, was another way of describing it. And she seemed beyond nice.
- Nick, come on you looked like an over exited little kid at Christmas when you guys walked through the door together
- Did not, Nick said
- Did too, Kevin said teasingly... AND DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!
Nick had grabbed a glass of water and was about to empty it over Kevin's curls. Joe laughed hysterically.
- What are you laughing at? Nick said emptying the glass over Joe's hair.
- HEY! I SPENT FOREVER ON THAT HAIR THIS MORNING! Joe screamed trying to look stern. No such luck after looking at Nick's face.
- I cannot believe I'm falling for your puppy eyes, Joe said grabbing a towel and drying his face and hair. At the same time Dalia and Johanna entered the room. Joe put the towel on a chair and sat down again next to Joe and Kevin.
- Hey guys, what's... Johanna began but the sight of Joe made her burst out laughing. Dalia looked at Joe and grabbed Johanna's shoulder as she started to laugh too. Joe looked hilarious. His hair was crazy, standing up making him look like Einstein with thicker and darker hair. The puzzled look on his face made him look like a little kid trying to figure out an equation. It was adorable, yet hilarious for some reason.
- What are you girls... Nick began but he too started to laugh as he saw Joe's hair-due and puzzled face. Kevin tried not to laugh as he led Joe over to the mirror so that he could look at himself.
- Dude I'm so the hottest guy in New Jersey he said, running his hands through his hair making him look less like
Einstein and more like himself.
- Nah, I'm more interested in curly- haired guys. Sorry Joe. Johanna said, as she walked up to Joe and Kevin extending her hand so that she could introduce herself. She was unaware of the fact that Nick's heart did a flip flop as he heard those words.
- Well I know perfectly well who you are... I am Johanna, but feel free to call me Jojo; she said smiling, shaking Joe's and Kevin's hands.
- Well Jojo if you don't mind me asking... What was it that caused you to cry? I totally understand if you don't wanna talk about it. Joe asked curious.
Johanna took a deep breath and looked Nick in the eyes. He offered her his hand and she took it.
Just in case she was going to tear up again...
