why in the world, people seem to compare someone with someone? can't just they sit and listen and meditate, reflect what's the meaning of the song....anyway, it's not the singer that we want to hear, it's the content of the song...peace....

though i LOVE this song, the video, pictures of Martina to an old gospel standard? not my favorite. I think the pictures could have better matched the song, just saying. BUT, since i suck at making videos, i have no room to talk

Early Martina or not, her voice is still strong here and she can hold those notes better than anybody. This is my favorite version by far.
