Kunakirwa Diaries: The Urban Voice - Trevor Dongo & MacDee (Episode 1)

A video documentary of Team Kunakirwa's journey across Zimbabwe talking to various musicians and producers alike to highlight the state of Zimbabwean music. We put faces to the voices that entertain us from within the borders and talk to a number of artists about their music and the issues they face in the entertainment industry. The good part? This is just random footage, all unplanned but put together to tell a story.

We bring you Episode One of the documentary series with Award-winning producer Macdonald 'MacDee' Chidavaenzi and talented singer Trevor Dongo. The 2 guys give us their take on why the Zimbabwean music industry shows so much promise but fails to deliver when it comes to the regional and international stages. Also included is a brief cameo by Alexio 'Goodchild' Gwenzi and a lot of surprises slotted in there as well!

omd just discovered trever dongo here in the uk.....love him and his voice.....where can we buy the albums....and u guys really need to make contacts with some african club promoters in the uk jus so u can perfom and get that eposure coz no-one really knows about zim music.....im a proud young zimbabwean living in london and im sick and tired of nigerian music dominating.......PLEASE PLEASE MAK IT WORK......and TREVOR Dont give up.....i hope he sees this comment one day....love him to bits
