My husband and I have been married for 6 years and together for 11. We have never had a positive pregnancy test. Despite my suspicion that I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), many doctors claimed I didn't have it and just needed to "lose a few pounds". People who have PCOS understand how difficult that is.
After years of infertility I went to Strong Fertility Center in Rochester NY for help. I was diagnosed with PCOS on 11/23/11 and am currently working with doctors to prepare for my first insemination.

This video shows how my first time injecting Ovidrel goes. Feeling kinda vain and don't wanna post it, but I was nervous and other people put themselves out there online, and it made it easier for me to do it. I realize by watching this that I didn't have the angle quite right.

Thank you for watching, please feel free to comment or contact me with questions.

  • Wow, thank you for sharing this with us. I really admire your courage. I almost started crying because I could see how important it is to you and how happy you were to be able to get through it. It made me really realize how I took for granted how easy it was for my husband and I to conceive whenever we chose to...no problem. I truly hope that you get your precious baby or babies in the near future!!! I will be watching!! Deborah

  • @debtard1 Deborah, I can't thank you enough for your kind message. Your words meant a lot, and I'm so grateful that you took the time to share them.

  • So glad to see you back and wishing you all the luck in the world. I truly hope it all goes smoothly and that there is exciting news asap!! =)

  • @Flab2Fab0406 Thank you!

  • Congrats and goodluck! I also have PCOS! We were very lucky though and had an unplanned pregnancy! It wasn't until after I had my daughter that I had all these new signs/symptoms that my doctor said I have pcos and may likely not have anymore kids. I'm blessed to have one as is!!!! I look forward to watching more ttc videos and pregnancy videos soon!!!

  • @Billabonglova I love hearing encouraging stories such as yours. It is good to know that the odds aren't all against us.

  • @vglavan2008 According to the information I was given, it was just a matter of preference. I did something that felt kind of silly, but I chose the left side because that's where my best follicle was.

  • @loveandjoy810 Thank you so much, it means a lot that you took a moment to send me well wishes.

  • Does it matter if you take it on the right or left side?

  • Good luck.
