@bradleyblackster you do realize the cars are designed to do that? Breaking apart actually helps dissipate the energy from the crash, therefore protecting the drivers.

They're completely different things.
F1 cars are built are built with cornering in mind.
Indys are made for 240mph oval turning.
I personally enjoy F1 a lot more, but to each his own.
