Is this actually raw animation data or did you do tweaks on it before doing the video?

@Shakeno It is the raw data out of ipi. i simply imported it into Motion builder to covert it to fbx and then load it into Lightwave but remember this was done last september and ipi has become more acurate and faster since then so i can better results now than i had then

@troughty1000 Wow, it is ridiculously smooth, I actually thought it was tweaked... impressive.

I've read around it doesn't capture wrist and head rotations very well, does the newer versions have that fixed? (I can't tell very well it they're stuck or if they rotate well in this video)

You're correct it dosent't currently capture wrists and head rotations. However head rotations are, i believe, coming soon but they are currently working on the kinect version

Hi when i first got into IPI i only had two cameras and was able to get some good results, mostly walking or standing and gesturing

Turns and spins wouldn't really be possible without a lot of intervention but to test it you should get some decent results

but keep it simple!

If it wasn't for the spacesuit clipping through itself slightly, and the slight foot slipping, I'd say this looks like a guy dressed in a space suit dancing in a large blue room.

@kleber1983 yeah, kinda lame that you want to pirate this. There's a very flexible academic discount, too, its something like 50% cheaper.

Hello, could you tell me what setup you are using? Like what cameras ect? Its just im starting to get into IPI and would like to know how you got this so smooth! Also, could you maybe do a tutorial of how to set up the software?

what about if you want to capture a break dancer/s would the new version keep up with speedy movement ? with perhaps 3 or 4 cameras. this would be really helpful, thanks !
