ubuntu rules..

hate those people that say linux mint is the best, cause its not.. just a different desktop, which is not easier to use than ubuntus.

Hmm resource pig?
How does it compare (in terms of resources) to Cairo-Dock? (That's what I use at present and it looks nicer and more functional)

i am trying out dockbarX. quite nice, but i must say it is a resource pig, wouldn't you agree???

it seems to require as much memory as compiz, which seems
like a bit much, but regardless i do like it. and on the flip side i ditched my dock.

first, open the program you would like to add to the bar, then, when you try to add the same program by dragging and dropping it, do not select a class name, cuz you will more than likely be wrong. instead, click on the down arrow next to the input box for the class name. this will bring up the lists of programs open, including the one you want to add. just select that one and you have the class name in it and you can add it correctly.
