Nick's p.o.v
"It's beautiful" she barely whispered as her eyes slowly took in our surroundings. I had taken us both to a viewing platform that was situated on top of the hill side giving an almost magical look out across the rest of the city it really was breath taking it was the escape that both of us had needed.
"You like it?" I whispered into her ear
"Like it I love it" she giggled excitedly jumping from my arms turning to face me before pressing her lips to mine quickly
"Thank you" she smiled but it quickly faded
"Hey what's wrong?" I asked concerned as I softly ran my thumb across her cheek
"Nothing...I just wish I had my camera with me so I could have taken some photographs" she smiled sadly leaning into my hand. I couldn't help but smile slightly as she closed her eyes to the warmth of my palm
"It's a good job I brought it then" I smirked and at once her eyes shot open her bright smile quickly reappearing
"Really?" She asked me like I had brought all of her Christmas's at once
"Really!" I chuckled and she pushed my stomach playfully before I folded my arms around her pulling her in close
"Your amazing you know that?" she sighed happily and I couldnt help but let a goofy smile smoother my lips
"I've been told" I teased and she giggled slightly
"And so modest" she continued and this time it was me who let out the small laugh
"But you love me anyway" I smirked and she nodded
"It seems I just can't seem to help myself" she chuckled and I smiled before pushing her from me slightly
"Good now go take those amazing pictures you've always wanted" I winked before handing her, her camera.
She looked at me unsure for a moment before i smiled at her encouragingly and at once she clapped her hands together in excitement before turning towards the breath taking view. I couldn't help but smile as I watched her I could quite easily do it all day she was beautiful even standing in front of the breath taking view it still held nothing on her nothing ever would.
Joe's p.o.v
I held Alexis's hand over the table as she ate her breakfast happily chatting to me about how much fun she had, had the lunch before shopping with all the girls. the events of last night complete forgot...but forgiven I wasn't sure . Somehow I knew Alexis had forgiven me even if she was still wounded but everyone else I wasn't sure.
Sure nick and Kevin, Lauren and Sam would as soon as they saw everyone was fine again but the thing was were we ever going to be fine again. I had completely messed up.
Chris, what I had done to him was beyond low sure he didn't have a great track record with girls but he would never hurt Mia never intentionally. And Mia it felt like our friendship was slowly tiring apart and as soon as one of us tried to hold onto it, it just broke further apart. It was becoming hard work and that wasn't how a friendship was meant to be....
"Joe" I was snapped out of my thoughts as I looked up at a slightly annoyed Alexis
"Yeah?" I questioned innocently
"I said your breakfast was getting cold" she sighed and I looked down at my untouched food to her empty plate and a rush of guilt pasted through me as I squeezed her limp hand which still laid in mine
"I'm sorry" I whispered guilty and she sighed softly
"What's on your mind?" she heisted before asking quietly
"Quite a lot" I chuckled lowly but she continued to watch me intensely waiting for me to explain further
"Chris" I admitted and I watched as she fought to suppress the surprise in her eyes.
I know she had been expecting me to say Mia but keeping that truthful fact from her was from the for the best. What good was it to tell her I didn't want to fight anymore I just wanted things to go back to normal
"Why?" Alexis question still slightly insure
"He's my best friend to Lex" I sighed at once feeling terrible as a look of guilt flash before her eyes
"I was so caught up being over protective that I forgot that he had been my best friend for a long time he wouldn't hurt Mia but I screwed it up for the both of them" I told her dejectedly before I took my hand from hers dropping my head against it.
"Joe" she soothed after a while of silence running her hand slowly up my arm until she reached my hand tracing circles on it comfortingly with her fingertips making me look up at her
"Have you talked to him since yesterday" she asked and I shook my head slowly
"Ring him...talk to him" she encouraged
"It will all work out your see" she told me with a somewhat sad smile before handing me my phone
Q. If someone wrote a book about your life, what would they title it?
A. "twin" simple as that it's pretty much what my whole life is centered around I can guarantee you that someone brings it up at least once a day but I'm not bad mouthing being a twin in fact I wouldn't change it for the world but it simply has shaped my life If I wasn't a twin my life would be a hell of a lot different :D
