Founded in 1985 and refounded in 1987, the Alpha Kappa chapter has made great strides in ingraining itself both in the larger Carnegie Mellon Interfraternal and Alpha Epsilon Pi National communities. More than 250 actives and alumni make up a young and thriving community that continues to excel to this day.
We actively participate in all of Carnegie Mellon's Big Three, hold positions on Greek Sing Executive Committee, Greek Week Committee, and IFC Executive Board. Our Brothers also hold leadership positions in more than 20 active organizations on campus. Our philanthropic endeavors, from Brain Freeze to Jewish Santa are always well received by campus each year.
We pride ourselves on strong academic performance, a commitment to responsible social life and on giving back to our campus.
