  • actually, it goes more like. pasos walk, corto, and largo. they can ALSO canter and trot if asked. they arent known for trotting, they are known for their distinctive gait bred into them.

  • True Paso Fino's do trot. They also walk, canter, corto, largo, and fino. At least mine is capable of all gaits.

  • A paso fino CAN do a huge "Arabian type" floating trot, a QH lope, a QH jog and many other gaits in addition to their natural "speed walk". Can your QH/Arab do the 4 beat paso fino gait?? Actually your QH/Arab does the same gait as the paso fino IF IT WALKS because the paso fino just does the walk at faster speeds than most breeds. So it is not a weird gait, it is a walk gait. I love all breeds. I RIDE a paso fino, for hours, at canter speed (largo gait and canter), and then go dancing.

  • @iSt3ve1 thier gaits are weird i just dont like them

i perfer my qauter arabians gaits

  • UGH TAKE NO OFFENC!!!! there gaits are hidiuse

  • @Emura100 Yes, I have a pinto Paso and he has won many 1sts in show and overall!! Paso fino's are accepted with any color variation :)

  • @ThePhenomenonStudios If it is all from the same farm then I highly doubt it is a Peruvian. Some horses flip their feet out just a bit, while the Peruvian tends to wing out the entire leg.

  • @mrXAVIERisAWESOME Actually Paso Finos do come in the pinto coloring. It is not really seen in the more well bred performance horses but there are some trail riding breeders who specialize in pintos (personally I think it is wrong to breed for a color, but whatever floats your boat as long as the horses are healthy).

  • I don't think the horse at :23 is a paso because they can't be paints and it has a paint pattern. Like if you have heard this or I am right.

  • 0:38 looks like a Peruvian Paso. They kick their feet out. Paso Finos are more piston and strait legged.

  • @lithics2 I like Paso Finos for trail riding. Show horses tend to be too hot for me sometimes so a calmer tail horse is great. Nothing like a smooth corto on a trail rather than a bouncy trot.
