I would love to get into some other points about what I condier substancial but to tell you the truth, it's very tedious in this 500 letter format. I've actually develpoed a problem with my right eye and I suspect the computer is to blame. This will be my last comment. Feel free to give the have the last word. Seeing that your man won, you have that coming. Take care. I appreciate you dialogueing with me. I think you have been fair in your comments overall.
I agree that the tape shouldn't be withheld if there are serious questions about Obama's behavior in it. I won't bother arguing with you about the actual merit of the tape's contents. I think that it sounds like a bunch of hogwash, and you think it sounds important--but I can respect the fact that you don't want to argue about what constitutes hogwash and what doesn't. Our ideologies are different and we clearly have opposing views about what's "right" both for this country and in general.
Of course I can dismiss things you bring up as yellow journalism--but that doesn't mean that I automatically will. If you brought up a point that didn't seem like insubstantial mudslinging, this conversation would be different. It's just that your arguments haven't struck me as meaningful, and I take things for what they're worth. If you made a strong point, I'd be satisfied. Your argument that the media lacks integrity holds merit.. I only disagree with your opinion on what is newsworthy.
Regarding "proof", I asked you that because no matter what I bring up, you can simply dismiss it as "yellow jounalism" or some other label and "poof", end of story. I don't think any story or explanation will satisfy you.
Obama won. I expcept that. He's my president and I will respect that office. Let me end by saying that I have thought long and hard about who he is, what he stands for, and yes, his record and present policies and feel that he is wrong for our country. I hope I'm wrong.
Regarding the video tape, a source that supposedly saw it said that it showed Obama applauding to speakers making pretty extreme anti-Israel statements. My only point was the withholding of the tape by the times being another example of a press pass.
If I remember correctly, you asked me to explain my original bible quote which I did. I don't think this blog is the appropriate place to expound further on it.
Zero story aside from the fact that he knows these people, anyway. But the fact that you and I both know about their connection to Obama means that it wasn't exactly hidden from the public.
And I don't know what you mean by "L-I-E"
is that another biblical reference? Because, if so, I'll again direct you to our latest president and all that he's wrought. Let's not pretend that we haven't been lied to already for decades upon decades of political and corporate maneuverings.
You clearly have a problem with the way Obama has been presented in the media, which is fine. The unfortunate thing here is that the points you bring up in regards to what should have been investigated further don't seem very substantive. I mean.. really? Ayers and Khalidi? A campaign event and a professor's farewell party? Unless you can find some sort of deeper agendae here, it's pretty much grasping at straws to say that these associations somehow indicate danger. There is zero story there.
Can't believe Obama has the audacity to run for president again !! He is the WORST president in US history !! Are you kidding me?
