@Regulusx1337 You did not pay attention. That is not what happened. It was SOPHIA who was telling him to open his eyes, which means she did the same thing. There were many clues throughout the movie to suggest this. They were together in the end. This film is a masterpiece and not many people got it!

To think.. it was all a dream in David's Mind.
He lost Sofia in the real life and was settling for a flawed dream of her rather than continue with her despite having been facially disfigured...
He missed his chance to be with her forever because of his own vanity issues.. :/

simple. GET URSELF Adobe premiere, or any other editing software. u can find on the net too, there are plenty.

Hey I am THE biggest Vanilla Sky fan. I have the vid cam, the lap top, the editing program. How do you get that stuff to edit?? How do you get the dvd into your editing program?? How do I make a VSky Video!!?? Please. A fan to another. In this life....when we are both Humans. : )

I have seen several other videos here trying the same thing, same song, or even "Silent Lucidity", but this version is by far the best. Excellent editing, music synchronicity throughout, from the jump off the building, to the white light, etc. I really applaud this video - perfect emotional arrangement!!

That's a comforting thought, and would've completely changed the context of the movie, but you're wrong. Listen to the voice... no accent at all, it's NOT Sophia.
David was resurrected to start a new life without guarantees and with endless possibilities. Perhaps Sophia was frozen also, but there is NO evidence in the movie.
The movie is about life's choices and consequences. THAT was emphasized over & over again in the film.
