He almost did it in TMLWKY. Some parts was really too high for a live performance and it's understandable. I'm curious what he can do on recording session. "The Great Pretender" preformed by Gary was very impressive (on karaoke).

Well, at the very least I will try to see Gary Mullen and The Works if they bring their show to NJ. BTW....I think choosing Sasha Baron Cohen to play Freddie in the movie that is being filmed right now is an odd choice. He can't sing (they're going to dub Freddie's voice over his) and he's too tall!

@Rickashay18 Yes, the Freddie moves are right on. He looks to be about the same height as Freddie also. Brian might like the idea of touring with Gary...I'm sure he and Roger would love to get back on the road again! I would love to see and hear someone that could do their songs the way Freddie did them...I never saw Queen in concert, but hey..there's still time...

His voice is close to Freddie's indeed. He certainly has Freddie's mannerisms down to a tee. I would have to say King Freddie and his Queens should be flattered....big time! I have emailed Brian May at his fan mail address. I don't expect I'll hear back but I at least got it off my chest...I told him I'd love it if Queen would do a "Fantasy Tour" with Gary Mullen stading in the gap for Freddie.

This show is the closest you get Queen.

I just dont understand why people critizise him for copying Freddie. This is a tribute band and thats what they do...and if I may say, he does oneh h*** of a good job! The best!

I have never heard somebody sing like this ... but he is not so good as Freddie was. But I don't understand why he copy everything. He should stay himself but he copy movements and everything, it seams absurd to me. It could be amazing if he sings with Queen....
