..stop exceptionalising. It's one of the many annoying byproducts of Political Correctness. No, most Japanese may not eat whale meat or god knows what else but the population in the main is SILENT, AND SILENCE IS CONSENT. Even benign complicity is a form of CONSENT. So, let us in our righteous might pursue these F#$rs and stop them. Scum, that they are.
@tehatemachine All Japanese don't eat whale meat, but as a nation few of them are against whaling, and if they are, most do not voice it. I say we give them an incentive to become more vociferous.
@tehatemachine If you hurt the pocket book of all Japanese, then it motivates those that do not consume whale meet to put pressure on their authorities to stop whaling. Next moth I will buy a new flat screen T.V. and sound system, my purchase will be LG. We no longer live in an age where all electronics come from Japan. It's up to the Japanese, if they want to have jobs or eat whale meat.
@majalca03 The only way you can TRULY stop importing Japanese goods is by the means of tariffs. Which damages both of our economies. Nobody is just going to go out and boycot their favorite TV maker because of something UNRELATED to them as an electronics maker as a whole. That's like saying we should all starve to death because a couple of Americans are obese. like i said .RECHECK YOUR THOUGHTS.
@tehatemachine It's not protectionism because it's not imposed by the government, it's a boicott. I've e-mailed my idea to various anti-whaling organizations, and have since bought two brand new Ford vehicles. The quality is excellent, and I don't regret not having bought what I used to buy, Hondas or Toyotas. The Japanese can eat all the contaminated whale meat they want, let's see if they can afford to buy it with no jobs.
@majalca03 That is not a good enough reason. Recheck your idea because it's incredibly flawed and ignorant. You imposing a protectionist plan which does nothing but ruin economic growth on both sides.
@brokenheartbabe123 I'm overwhelmed by all of those profound reflections, but I feel a duty to correct you on these points: I am not "F*****G crazy", I am not "mother F*****G crazy", neither am I a "Mama F****R" nor "F*****G happy." How do you know whales are endangered? Could you quote the exact number of whales left alive?(any species baleen or otherwise.) If you can where did you get that info? What entitles you to make such rash comments? P.S. I don't have 8 mini siblings, eaten or otherwise
