I cum from hawick evreyone in my familey comes from hawick apart from baby brother who was born last year in april hes was born in edinburgh were we live edinburgh still and my dad is in afganistan to earn money for me and my mum and jack to move bak to hawick my mumm hasent slipt up wi him its just she wants whats best and is sick of the army life so... il be movin bak when i am in primary 7 next year xxx Cant wait

That was brilliant, I live in Newcastle on tyne, and I often travel through Kielder, newcastleton and Hawick, such beauty the area beholds, wish I could afford to move out there somewhere.

Teries rule! Brings back a lot of memories. I used to work here, studying how Border Scots speak for my Ph. D. in Edinburgh in '76, and been back a number of times, the last in 1998. Loved the people, loved the town. Thanks for all, and I hope to visit (and maybe interview) again.

Thankyou so much for posting these videos, i used to live and work up there and thinking about moving back hopefully sometime this year, maybe Kelso, not sure yet.
