Nick: Go get the note *hugs Selena* It's okay.....
Selena: *pulls away* No it's not! He ruined my life and now he's ruining hers tooo! *runs*
NicK : SELENA! *chases her* *decides he should wait with Demi* *goes back* Ughh, Demi, why would you do this to yourself?
Demi: *no response. obv*
Nick: You have awesome friends and....who is Keith anyway?
Doctor: *comes in* Keith? The young man who just came in?
Nick: What? *stands up* Is he here?
Doctor: Yes, in the lobby.
Nick: I'll be right back. *runs down the 4 flights of stairs, in the lobby..*
Nick: Keith?
Keith: *looks up* Yeah?
Nick: Hey, just a question, what did you do to Demi!?
Keith: *acts innocent* Nothing, I'm just a friend of hers.
Nick: Friend, my ass. You, apparently, ruined Selena's life, so your obviously not friends with her best friend.
Keith: *stands up* How the hell did you find out about me and Selena? That bitch is gonna die! *leaves*
Nick: *looks around at the lobby full of people* Uhh... rehearsing for a play. *runs out thinking: I have to get Selena!*
Nick: Selena!
Keith: *comes out* Looking for her now? What, you scared?
Nick: Listen, 'Keith', she didn't tell me anything. Just that you ruined her life. Now, just leave her alone, okay?
Keith: *laughs* You'd like that, wouldn't you?
Nick: *stares him dead in the eye* Yeah, I would.
Keith: Too bad, pretty boy. first one to find her, gets her.
Nick: Deal. *about to walk away, turns and punches him in the jaw*
Keith: *falls over, bleeding*
Nick: *calls Selena, she doesn't answer.* *thinking: Where is she!?* *thinks for a minute, THE LAKE!*
Joe: *pulls up and sees Nick running* NICK! I HAVE THE LETTER!
Nick: *turns around and runs over* *gets in* Take me to the lake. Nearest spot to our house.
Joe: Okay...? Why?
Nick: Because! Selena ran off and Keith was rying to get her and... kill her. And I punched him ,so HURRY!
Joe: You punched him!?
Nick: ...yeah..
Joe: Nice job, little bro! *hands him the envelope* Now, read this!
Nick: *opens the letter* *reads aloud* Demi, Have you lost it yet? I'm getting bored... Keith
Joe: Lost what? He's bored? What?
Nick: I think he means lost the weight...?
Joe: That makes sense! But, he's bored?
Nick: I don't know! Hury Joe!
Joe: I have to go the speed limit!
Nick: It's 3 in the fricken morning! Just go!
Joe: *speeds up*
---At the Hospital--
Mrs.Lovato: Is she going to be okay?
Doctor: Unfortunately, she's slipped into a coma. But the good news is, 90% chance of waking up. Bad news, it could be weeks before that happens.
Mrs.Lovato: *cries* *whispers to Demi* (the doctor's gone) Demi...sweetie, you have to wake up... you're all I have...
---PS I'm making this up, i doubt you could end up in a coma from fainting----
---AT the lake---
Nick: Joe, go back to the hospital for Demi. Keep your cell on.
Joe: *nods and leaves*
Nick: *walks through the cornfeild, scared* Selena? Sel-lena?
Nick: *starts on the pathway to the lake and hears crying* Selena? *walks over*
Selena: *wipes her eyes and holds her breath, hoping he won't notice her*
Nick: Selena? *sees her sitting on the dock* *sits next to her* You okay?
Selena: *fakes it* Yeah, fine. Just cold.
Nick: Liar. What's wrong? How did he ruin your life? You can tell me. *puts his arm around her*
Selena: No, you see, I CAN'T tell you...
Nick: And why not?
Selena: *sniffles* Because...he-he said If I...If I told...he'd.. *whispers* he'd kill me...
(A/N: The ... are sobs)
Nick: *pulls her into him, she's bawling now* Selena, I won't let him hurt you. I swear.
Selena: *looks up at him* Thanks Nick, but I don't know if you're...
Nick: If I'm what? Big enough? Strong enough? Well, I'm strong enough to knock him over with one punch.
Selena: Really? *laughs a little*
Nick: *laughs* Yeah...And Selena, If you don't wanna tell me, it's fine. But when you're ready, I'm all ears.
Selena: *hugs him tighter* Thanks Nick.
Nick: No problem..*staring out at the moon shining on the lake*
Selena: *pulls away, arms still around. Looks at it too* Pretty, huh?
Nick: Yeah.. *smiles. thinking: like you.*

Selena: *rests her head on his shoulder and closes her eyes*.
Nick: *leans back and puts his weight on his arms*
Selena: *falls asleep*
