  • Hi gnxdad

Journaling is always a good idea! So, I highly recommend it as your next step. You will find a description of a 3 part journaling process described on my site. Just enter "journaling" in the search box, and go to the first page that comes up at the top.

My best to you, Dr. DeFoore

  • Thank You for posting this video. I've been working my way through your website angermanagementresource. Hearing your ideas in your own words helps me to understand what I'm reading. By the way...thanks for the free site and resources too. I'm working to rebuild that healthy anger I once had. Journaling is my next step....or is it?

  • Thank you for the great video!

I love the simple concept of release vs communication.

When I grew up my parents did a lot of screaming, yelling, shaming, etc. I soaked it up like a sponge! Consequently, I had a lot of problems with anger. Screaming in the car, punching pillows, etc. helped to release a lot of the pent-up negativity.

I like your explanation of healthy anger. I look at many influential people and they seem to calmly assert themselves -- no temper tantrums necessary!!
