Yes, it is VERY hard to raise a religious child in this world today. All the Facts, scientific evidence, logic and reasonable thinking really do make it hard to teach your children lies. Damn those scientists! Why can't they just accept our fallacious book as truth? Even when it doesn't have any evidence!

@samseng90 so you say religion is the safe bet. I guess that destroys the idea that I am Atheist because of sin. Since a short life of pain and suffering, then eternal paradise is much better then a short life of sin pain and suffering, followed by eternity of suffering. I guess that destroys the bible's idea that I do not believe for sin's sake.

6:13 The lady made a pretty good point. I personally don't think the sentence "it's a myth" is THAT offensive, but still, I do not see a reason behind it. I understand dave wants to have the "closet atheists" step in the light and express their (lack of) beliefs, but he could have expressed his thesis in so many different ways... That billboard seems just stupid.

I'm an atheist, but I believe that allowing someone like Silverman to speak for atheists everywhere is wrong, as the man is quite clearly of limited intelligence. I also believe that putting up ridiculous atheist billboards is just as annoying as seeing pathetic Christian billboards. The only defence for Christianity (speaking from my personal upbringing) is that it installs some sort of behavioural balance in children. They learn good from evil. It's a lesson not a life sermon.
