I just purchased a "Black Betty" and I' in complete agreement This machine is not only very pleasing to the eye but is strong , durable and very unassuming! @Teresita5757 Hey, you push up on the glass lens and turn it. When it comes out you simply unscrew the light bulb and replace it.

I always enjoy your videos and narratives, Brian. Yes, this machine is surprisingly heavy and robust; looks can be deceiving.
BOBBIN TENSION: I'm quite sure you can find a small, offset screwdriver that will make adjusting the bobbin tension much easier. The screwdriver is angled 90 degrees to the handle or stem.
