He was the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rocksteady and reggae bands The Wailers (1964 1974) and Bob Marley & the Wailers (1974 1981). No his songs were about love peace and unity ..... He stood up for people and there rights quite a few of his mainstream music were love songs but bob marley was not all about smoking weed that was just part of his religion he smoked to be closer to his god jah
