It is both Congress' and Obamas. He encourages them to spend more and promises to sign off if they do. It would be my fault too if I were running around trying to lie to people and tell them that everything is OK. Anybody who believes in borrowing (stealing) from children is no different than Congress and Obama. More Reps than Dems are trying to reduce spending. Not because Reps are better, but because the Rep voters demand it of their leaders. Dem voters do not. Librtrian voters are better yet.

Was the president against or for raising the debt limit? If I remember correctly, he said that the debt limit has to be raised and the congress has to do the right thing and raise it once again. Both the congress and the president are in the same boat.
