@miniGMgoit I agree. From here on it was downhill all the way, albeit down a shallow slope.
The metronomic magnificence of this, though.....and other tracks from the same time, especially on Peng! 'Perversion' on that album was great, which someone would upload it.

perhaps, the drones wrapping the sound together.

If only the sound quality was better. I love this song. Great that you uploaded it anyway. Thanks :)

n a music video can't be easy. Hehe!

Neu! meets MBV? That's a nice comparison...at least for this one album.

Neu! meets My Bloody Valentine... anyone agrees?

This was the song that turned me on to them. On Much Music and I wasn't really paying attention, and suddenly I noticed the music and vocals. Their sound is so unique all the way around. They go a little too 'artsy' for me. And when Mary died, I just couldn't listen to them anymore for some reason? But they were (and are) still a damn good band!
This is a sort of tribute to metronomic rockers Neu! I love Stereolab's uplifting guitar trance, especially when it's paired with often contrasting dark lyrics. This one is almost entirely hopeful, however.
