Days Left (Niley)Short Story Part 2

310 days left- My parents had invited Miley and I over for dinner with my three other brothers. Kevin,(with his wife Danielle) Joe(still single), and Frankie( single).I had told Miley that I havent told my family about my Ischemic , she was kind of upset that I didnt but after awhile she understood were I was coming from, though she is making me tell them before its too late. As the night progressed I started to lose my appetite which was another side effect and to make it even worse in the past months Ive lost about thirteen pounds. After dinner we helped clean up as mom, Miley, and Danielle were in the living room. Once done, us guys, walked into the living room. Though as I walked into the living room I started feeling light headed and I felt as if I could feel my heart beat throughout my body but mostly my head (other side effects). I grabbed my head but soon I lost my balance and fell over.
309 days left- I had woke up in a room so familiar, yet so unwelcoming and plain. I woke to four white walls with instruments and machines all around. I was in the hospital yet again, but the only thing different about this time was my family and Miley were here. They were all sleeping so I pressed the button on the slide of my bed to call the doctor. Once my doctor got here, he told me that because I havent been eating as much it caused me to faint and when I did I had hit my head on the table, which would explain my headache. I then asked if he told my family about my Ischemic he shook his hand and told me that he was very surprise when Miley had told him not to say anything about it that she wants me to tell them. I signed half of me wanted the doctor to tell them to get it over with but the other half kind of wants to tell them myself. An hour later my mom started to move. I looked over to her to see her eyes flutter open, once her eyes adjusted to the lighting and she realized were she was ran to my side and called out my boy. She then hugged me tight as tears spilled out her eyes. Once she settled down she asked me what had happen to me that the doctor wouldnt say anything on a request from me. I looked at her and I could just see her heart breaking when I tell her what was happening, and I only want to say it once so I told her once everyone woke up I would tell them, but with my mom being so impatient and worried she woke up everyone. Miley moved to my side and grabbed my hand encouraging as I explained what has been happening for the past four years of my life. I watched as my mom started to cry and my brothers look shocked with tear-filled eyes. My dad and Kevin both hugged their wives as they cried. I looked up at Miley only to see tears falling down her check; I brought my hand to her face and gently wiped away her tears just as another one replaced it.
295 days left- It was Friday night and Miley and I were at her apartment grading papers for school. We were in her room listening to the radio, with her on the bed with papers everywhere and me at her desk. Her desk had a bunch of pictures of her family and friends. I looked around some more of her room when I came across a camera. I picked it up and got ready to press the button. Hey Miles, I called to her and as she looked up I snapped the picture. She started to laugh and then said Hey I wasnt ready. A smile grew on her face as I took another and her beautiful laugh filled her room. You know looking around this room; you have a bunch of pictures of you and your family and friends but none of me and you. I told her as I sat down next her on the bed and she looked around. Your right. So I brought to camera up to take a picture of both of us and right as I was about to press the button I turn and placed my lips on her pink check and took the picture. She started laughing and turned to me. I have a better picture. And she took both of her and hands and placed them on my checks and leaned in and placed her soft pink lips against mine. I took the picture and slowly pulled away. She looked at me with a big smile on her face. She still had her hands on my checks and pulled me down on top of her as she started kissing me again. I placed my hands on both sides of her body to hold myself up as we continued to kiss. She had moved her hands to my chest and started to unbutton the buttons on my shirt. Soon she had my shirt off and I moved my hands down to the hem of her shirt, though as I started to lift it up she pulled away from the kiss and placed her hands on mine. Promise youll be here in the morning? she asked me. I promise. Then she pulled her shirt over head. Youre beautiful. I blurted out. Her smile grew on her face as she pulled me into another kiss. As the radio started blaring Closer to Love By Mat Kearney, the music seem to fade into the background as the beat of our hearts beating together filled the room.
