VoiceLive 2 version 1.2 - Live Demo

The new firmware version for VoiceLive 2 contains Rhythmic - a new arsenal of vocal effects. Rhythmic effects are controlled via Tap or MIDI tempo and they push the envelope of what's possible with vocal sounds in live performance.

Rhythmic Stutter - allows pattern based gating effects
Rhythmic Gender - pattern based or LFO driven gender
Rhythmic Stutter -allows re-sample of vocal loops

does this have to be used with a guitar? i'm a solo singer with backing trax can i still use voicelive2? or would you rercommend another device? thanks (great videos btw)

@leeculver Hiya, VoiceLive 2 doesn't have to be used with a guitar. You can either manually program the key for harmonies or run a backing track into the aux input.

How do you sync the rhythmic FX? Can you reset where the downbeat is on the VoiceLive?

@michaelthrong Hiya, You can sync the effects using tap tempo. You can re-synchronize the beat of the Rhythmic

effect or restart the pattern each time you press the SHORTCUT switch setting to ON. Check out the full VOiceLive 2 manual in the support section of the TC-Helicon website for more info. You can find the section you are looking for starting from page 79.

Hi Tom, is this possible with MIDI to have the voice live 2 change preset when I change preset on a POD HD 500 (or change the podHD500 preset when i change voice live 2 preset) many thanks

@AllinMyGuitar Hiya, If you download the full VoiceLive 2 manual from the TC-Helicon website there is a list of midi parameters there that you may find useful. For specific advice on making this work I would suggest you contact TC-Helicon's support team as they would be the best people to help guide you through this process.

Will this magic device work correctly with keyboards plugged in instead of a guitar? Would it understand the harmony?

Also will the guitar effects work for keyboards?

Can I use this to pitch my vocals lower, not so much with backing octaves, but just solo gender pitch to give my voice a creepy low tone? I know voicelive 1 did.
