Rare footage of this original version of the song released by Opus 111 with singer Kirsty Hawkshaw as the front vocalist. Here you can see the original video released in 1992, with never before seen film from behind the scenes with the original band members. Kevin Dodds (fly), Nigel Walton and Ian Munroe.

  • of course I can! Raw food, barefoot running and Yoga have paid off and kept me in trim x

  • Opus 3 split up because most bands do after the second album. People get different ideas of what they want and naturally drift apart. Plus I wanted to follow my own path and work with other producers and write my own music - In 1994 after a difficult tour It was definately time to move on. I'll be writing about that bit in my book one day.

  • Positive vibe from positive sublime Kirsty.

  • @kirstyhawkshaw Beautiful!!

thanks for being a great inspiration to my pre-teen self in so many ways.... :-) love n light :-)

  • I`m still loving this track, going to play at my next Oldschool gig!Perfect track for taking X (:

  • Goddamn! Kirsty Hawkshaw has a gorgeous body in that there leotard! She's still gorgeous today - with long hair nowadays... but I wouldn't mind her bald either!

    =O)

  • @kirstyhawkshaw if you run really really fast you might go back in time to the early 90s when life was good! Or gooder at least lol

  • This song reminds me of nice times spent driving around, listening to Opus III, with a dearly departed friend. Moments of freedom that seem more difficult to experience as time passes on.

  • This song changed my life, It was the first "electro" that I really loved, than started my search for more from Opus and other oldschool groups... And after 12 years I still love this!

  • Kristy, did it ever get annoying hearing the same song over and over again? Going through the same motions, same music, etc? The music video is great, and my favorite thing about this song, it not actually the original... it is the James Holden (?) remix, I heard that one when I very first got introduced to electronic music about 5 years ago... brings back memories of my pre-middle school days.

  • I wan't alive at the time, but I really love this song!

  • Beautiful. Musician. Artistic. Talented. And into raw food?!?! Wow.

  • Just amazing wow!!!!!!!!! Flashback...Its the very first time I seen the vid, Though the tune has so many good memory's with it of the best years of my life. The video is so mystical and perfect for the tune, You look beautiful as is the tune. I find it trippy too which is a good thing..I need a time machine..

  • I first heard this on Radio 1 before it went big, probably Steve Lamaq's show. Because of my poor stereo at the time i thought you sung it in French for some bizarre reason lol. Anyway I really liked it and still do.

  • Well clearly everyone involved did a great job!

The song still kicks arse nearly 20 years later and the video is still cool.

Clean, simple but very effective, and of course Kirsty's looks don't hurt either!

But what exactly was that strange crystally looking thing on her head?

  • You look lovely as an avatar. we should make ourselves up like this and go dance dnb again!!!

  • Kirsty.... you haven't changed a bit since this! (ok, more hair.....lol)

Loving the new stuff Missus! Keep them coming! ;-)

  • Kristy can you still move like you did in the video? LOL.

  • After all those times passed my way right in this moment I remember back into my school-time. I was the only one in my class listening to this sheer sonic beauty. And I remember back to some things that I (unfortunately) just only now understand. A kind of being open for other. For other people that I did not noticed in that days back. Hm - if I would have the chance to get back? I would do some other things in a better way. But one fact still stands in my mind: this is truely a hymn to me.

  • Yup, stunningly beautiful... Totally... that leotard really shows off yer figure... Makes me ooooh, all gooey inside! Kind of...

    Gorgeous...

  • soundtrack to a summer in Paris kept me sane... along w The Pixies Bossanova album, ya completely different ends of spectrum but hey i bloody loved it .... and lived it!

  • allways loved this track kirsty and of course you looked stunningly beutifull.xx

  • Would someone please tell me why Opus III broke up? It's like they just disappeared off the face of the earth except for Kirsty. I was really into them.

  • omg! thank you for uploading this!
