Tripp just learned weave poles using Susan Garrett's 2 x 2 method. It took us about 3 weeks as we spent a little more time proofing our entries and environments. The first few clips show the approach I took to linking the 2 sets of 6 poles - back-chaining. Tripp wasn't transitioning smoothly into the 2nd set, so we took a slightly different approach than recommended in the SG video. He is making beautiful entries from all over the place and weaving 12 upright, competition spaced poles. Training the weaves was a lot of fun - I saw progress every session we had. We are working on other agility foundational stuff like the contacts seen in this video. Tripp is a WATER DOG, so after our agility sessions, we head out and splash around in the pond to cool off! Most of this footage was taken at a friend of mine's place.. she has been so gracious to show me the ropes in agility, introduce me to a handling system, and allow me to practice at her awesome facility.
Music by Kid Cudi - sorry for the mildly offensive language.
You two are doing fantastic! Great job! =)
