  • I also stuck it out, Is there a class action law suit that we can join?

    We live on Rockaway blvd

    Thanks ELI

  • Great job filming and editing......used to ride my bike through the River Rd. floods as a kid and it was never that bad!

  • well if anyone decides to join in to bring up a lawsuit against the town and the mayor I'll join you. Karina Vasquez-Salgado from 66 Lake Shore Drive. Thanks that a human error we are now homeless!

  • @Damon0306 I wonder if seeking legal action against the town is an option?

  • Way to go Christian. You're a brave young man.

  • Moved to GA 4 years ago from Manito Avenue. My heart goes out to you all. I never carried flood insurance. I am sickened that I can not be there to help. Please know you will always be included in our prayers.

  • They destroyed us, they let the water from the dam all at once on Sunday, knowing for a week that the hurricane was coming. I havent had a drop of water in my basement on Norman Ave in over 25+ years.

Sunday evening my basebent was DRY, after 20 mins I had water to the ceiling in the basement, with 2 Ruptured OIL TANKS, one in the basement and one in the garage, are house is destroyed because on the oil, we put our life savings into the house, own it and have no flood insurance, were finished.

  • How sad. I live on the other side of river drive and was not affected by the flooding. However, it makes me think twice about living in this area.

  • Amazing footage! Breaks my heart! I know how it feels to have to start over! I'm in Rutgers Village.

  • Great video!! Brings back a lot of memories. How is 47 Pawnee Ave we use to live there 15 years ago? Hope you are dry?
