@PotterMarauder Read FanFiction. There's a million stories about it!

your grandmother ask you: "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
Your response: "I wanna be a Beatle!!"

i love him!

But it all added up to this overproduced, watered-down soup - like aural wallpaper for yuppies - that all the elements evidently negated each other's original impact. If driving, forceful music is considered more primitive, then so be it.

You misunderstand the whole thing. Black music is one thing and what the Beatles created (esp. after 1965) is another. Yes, it is partly based on what you call black music but it is much more than that. It is just as much British folk, skiffle, country & western, Motown, etc AND what the Beatles themselves added to it all, which is quite a LOT.

You misunderstood. I meant it's watered-down black music -where rock came from- made safe for whites. Definition of Beatles pop.

@steveconn LOL......"she loves you" is black music???? Ok....sure glad you cleared that up
i wish i had a time machine. i would go to 1963 and say, "hey i'm from the future," become famous for it, and meet the Beatles.
