this song makes me cry, I don't know if its the harmonies or what, but so awesome! I need a time machine!
-
THIS is how to use a falsetto! Cool, smooth, and perfectly harmonized!

Sorry TheDJGrandPA: Perhaps you read just a Jan and Dean sleeve. They were Beach Boys soundalikes. Brian Wilson helped them composing, arranging and singing falsetto in Surf City. Brain almost invented them! Dick Dale is a cult legend but the real global surf group were/are The Beach Boys. They had one of the greatest songwriters in USA. I´m not trying to ignore other surf one-hit wonders, but they just aren´t in the same league of The Beach Boys.

One day i will dance with her on that day with this song. She hates this song though because she is just like everyone else in my ungreatful generation.

So much character in this piece. Music is supposed to touch your heart. This is a heartfelt song. Truely is.

@manchadeltigre They had an original sound, and Brian Wilson was very inovative, but let's be serious. Surf music was founded on the likes of Jan, Dean and Dick Dale :P Not that I don't like the Beach Boys

I had my FIRST slow dance to this song many, many years ago when I was a young teenager with a girl, who I was crazy about. Decades later, I can hear this song and it immediately takes me back to those 2 1/2 minutes of pure heaven..! Thanks so much for posting..! Brian Wilson was a musical genius..!
