Its an excellent book, no doubt. But I picture the voice of the underground man in a more angry, bitter voice, more Russian and less British.

yes, underground man is indeed quite bitter. But remember, with translation in language and setting comes also a translation in culture. For an english-speaking culture the clean-British accent connotes a high class, which the underground man always imagined he had. Thanks for watching and taking the time to coment!
