This is just amazing! I was born in Queens in August of 1943, and lived in Astoria the first seven years of my life. I said to my mother, "where has daddy gone?" He's out looking at a fire! I will never forget that! Thank you so much!

They need to show things like this in school to teach kids what they need to try to do in life. Kids today are a mess and couldn't hope to accomplish things like this.

Sounds like an idea but... I don't think were in dire need of Fire Fighters just yet, as there is a waiting list for the FDNY and the next test is in 4 years. Around 18,000 People took the test last year and only I believe 600 got accepted. So with these statistics I think were doin alright. Maybe more volunteers if anything.
