Think of Laura - A Tribute & Celebration of Life for Laura Szendrei

A tribute video for Laura Szendrei who was taken much too soon by a senseless attack September 25th, 2010 at Mackie Park in North Delta, B.C.

While nothing can make the pain of Laura's loss any easier, hopefully her family and friends will remember her as the bright, beautiful, vibrant person she always was with this collection of images set to "Think of Laura" by Christopher Cross (lyrics below). The song seemed so perfect as the anthem of Laura's life that I knew I'd never be able to stop thinking about it until I created this video for her, her family, friends, and those of us who never met her but wish we had...

I cannot believe it has been a whole year since this senseless attack on Laura or that she has been gone that long... it seems like only a couple of weeks since I created this video to honor her memory... R.I.P. Laura... :(

@Hisukamineski We all hope for that... the person who did this was recently arrested and is awaiting a trial in a court of law. We can only hope they prosecute them to the full extent of the law and that they're locked up for a long, long time so they can never do this to another human being, especially a sweet young girl... RIP Laura...

Finally today, February 21st, police have arrested and charged the person who took Laura's life that terrible day back in September... Hopefully Laura's family and friends can finally find peace in knowing this person will NOT get away with what they did and that her senseless death can finally be avenged... R.I.P. beautiful girl!

wow what moving a tribute to her such a young life to be cut short but god has plans for all of us and he called her home early as he did with my oldest sister she was hit by a school bus in front of our home i know how how deeply she will be missed

I'm floored every time I search this song and find yet another Laura has been tragically lost. She was obviously a very beautiful young woman. This one hits closer to home for me - my sister Laura was 14 when we lost her to leukemia on Christmas Eve 1986. I've always found solace in this song; As I shed a tear I'll be thinking of your loss as well. My sincere condolences.

Such a beautiful tribute for a beautiful young lady taken away by an unimaginable and horrible act. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Laura Szendrei. Please take comfort in knowing that she is safe and in a better place.. Rest assure that you will re-unite with her once again.
