Vroom auf dem Amiga 600

Ich hab mal wieder den Amiga herausgeholt für eines meiner damaligen Lieblingsspiele - VROOM. Zu sehen ist der erste Track vom Arcademodus. Mit der manuellen Schaltung hab ich noch ziemliche probleme, wie man besonders am Ende merkt. :D Und irgendwie sind einem früher nicht soviele in den Weg gefahren....
Ein recht rasantes Rennspiel mir hohem Unterhaltungsfaktor und HAMMER Grafik. ;) Direkt vom Amiga mit TV-Karte aufgenommen.

//EDIT: Manchmal muss man loslassen von der geliebten Vergangenheit. Der Amiga ist nun seit einiger Zeit nicht mehr in meinem Besitz. Lediglich meinen Lieblingsjoystick habe ich als Andenken behalten. Eine 17-jährige Ära geht für mich zuende und schafft Platz für neues.

good thing about this game was indeed the feeling of speed and the fact that the car did not follow the turns partially by itself, like in other racing games (e.g. lotus).

it looks like you play it with mouse. i found it quite hard back in the days with that amiga brick.

No, I didn't play it with mouse. This was played with joystick in arcade mode and manual transmission ;)

In arcade mode, the car DID follow the turns partially. What I didn't like in simulation mode is that you for example had to steer left in order to drive straight on after a right turn. I never made it to the finish line in this mode ;)
