@rpo11234 It's power is pretty decent, though. It won't accelerate fast because it is built very heavy. It's V8 does produce a decent amount of power though.

power? these things acceleration is slow as shit

@lemansguy72 The caprice 9C1 was a good car, I drove it, the Ford P71 has a POOR rating for side impact, poor engineering, plus, like I wrote it can explode if hit hard in the rear and it burns gas like a pig. If you want a well engineered car, think Mercedes, Volvo, even the Smart car does well in a crash. The days of big engines sadly are gone, unless you are rich and the price of gas doesn't matter to you.

@SuperJerkyBoys Yep...they kissed 140+ goodbye when the caprice died in '96. Idk what the 2012 Caprice PPV tops out at, but i've had my 06 GTO to 145 and still pulling but its got a more potent 6.0L than the new cop car. I hate Fords but despite being slow, the CVPI is an impressively durable car that we can thank for keeping the streets clean!

Plus, they get bad gas mileage and explode if get hit hard in the rear, and the local POPO will harass you.

150 MPH ?? LOL Now way can a P71 go 150 MPH

Cops cars get habitually abused and when not being abused sit running idle with the air conditioning on for long periods of time. True they are regularly maintained however even cab companies are very careful about which ones they buy.
Cop cars are spat, horked, pissed, shit and vomited in regularly. Always keep that in mind. Stick with unmarked cars that have been used by field investigators. Some cars may still have police equipment installed but disconnected (Fire Dpets are bad for that).
