A 1999 close-up version of Reid playing one of his most difficult pieces for partial capo solo guitar. Mostly for people trying to learn it- it is in "Capo Inventions" book. http://www.woodpecker.com

  • Im 16, have played guitar for 5 years, and fingerpicked exclusively for 1, but i'd give any of many appendages to play that, brother. Seriously, powerful.

  • Breathtaking skill.

  • have seen him many many times, every time floors me like the first.

  • I would be satisfied to use a partial capo to write something even a tenth this complex. :)

When I just listen to his music, it already floors me, but when I actually see his hands playing it, too, I just stare like a zombie.

This song has a melody that absolutely melts my heart.

  • This man is truly a great player.... but isn't this just DADGAD a half-step up? 5/5

  • What a great piece! Great sound, too.
