Chapin School Bus Exercise

Village of Chapin- Division of Crisis Management conducted a full scale exercise involving a school bus vs. car. The exercise involved over 12 agencies from three counties. It had multiple objectives and had over 14 patients transported to the local hospital for treatment.

Being the first exercise, we learned a lot. Our IC was present, but not very visible, as well as a moving command post, which we have since addressed. It was a very good exercise all and all, and helpful in seeing where we need further training.

Where was incident command? I did not appear that there was any command at all. Maybe it just was not shown. Initial triage appeared okay, but was delayed. Over all good video and hope it was an excellent educational tool for you all.

I sure hope that the dispatcher isnt a regular dispatcher, cause she did a terrible job.
