  • Corn and ethanol are subsidized by taxpayers at the pump.

  • First of all, do not listen to anyone that starts his argument "I think science is wrong..."

    What might be true in Brazil is that the industry might not be directly taking rainforest away but they are displacing other farmers who in turn move into rain forest areas.

    Millions are being displaced in Indonesia for the plantations of Palm oil for Europe's biodiesel. Unfortunately that could only be the start.
