The Bedford MJ had a standard 4 speed manual gearbox with low and high range for off-road, all the other vehicles had automatic transmission. On the Hagglund it was a Ford 3 speed auto (which I remember from the 1970s Capri/Granada, even had the Ford gear selector together with the Ford 3.0 V6 petrol engine), both the FV432 APC and Abbot also had automatic transmission with a conventional P-R-N-D-2-1 selector as you would find in a car
