ExtraNet WiMax Project

Mr. Yaniv Carmel, General Manager of ExstraNet established and deployed the first wireless broadband internet service provider (WISP) and fix line telecommunications services in Sierra Leone, west Africa as CTO,VP Engineer and a founder of the project.
Mr. Carmel directed the company to become the top broadband WIPS in Sierra Leone in only six months, despite fierce market competition;
Lead a state-of-the-art network that is based on IP/MPLS Backbone, VoIP Softswitch, WiMax WLL fixed wireless access network and high power SCPC satellite connectivity.
Mr. Yaniv Carmel designed and managed networking solutions tailored specifically for nation-wide enterprises and non government organizations,
maintained and supported continuous troubleshooting of entire WISP operation in Sierra Leone.
