@TheNursepiggy Sorry but the actual beach at the strand is pathetic every and one of the worst ive ever seen and is fake and used to be a mud flat and breakwalls every 200m - as fake as it gets. The parks at the strand are nice and CLEAN but the actual beach is very ordinary especially compared to the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, Byron Bay, NSW north coast Newcastle etc. The strand is the most ordinary beach ive seen on the whole East coast along with the rest of Townsvilles beaches.

@freeskater7 Look, the strand has won Australia's cleanest beach award many years in a row, the only bad bach i can think of is rowes bay and pallaranda, thats only shitty when its low tide. We don't have any fake beaches he in TSV.

Townsville has the worst beaches i have ever seen eg mud flats and fake beaches. The beaches are so bad they had to make fake beaches. SE QLD and NSW has WAY better beaches and waves.
