  • @jaycc2 We do have corporate socialism. Just look up the Federal Reserve.

  • Here are the songs that are featured in this video:

    0:00 "Why I Am"

0:15 "Lying in the Hands of God"

    0:49 "Squirm"

    1:14: "Stay or Leave

    1:46: "Why I Am"

    1:55: "Alligator Pie"

    2:15: "Baby Blue"

    2:45: "You Might Die Trying"

Because people keep asking about the songs in this video...

  • squirm

  • @TheEarlofafrica No, the song at :55

  • webcat1969 you obviously take your education from American TV! Go educate yourself on the term "socialism" and what it means before you go and get "all frustrated." The DMB has always been "socialist" in that the band members have always shared equally in the proceeds of the band and have contributed both musically and charitably in the same way. We do not have "socialism" in this country...We have "Corporate Socialism." What is "yours" goes into private corporate accounts...

  • What you do Dave is charity, not socialism. You do it because you can and you want to. In a world of socialism the government takes what is yours and decides what to do with your money. If you were to get your way of socialism you would no longer have the freedom to choose what organizations get your money. There's a GIANT difference between charity and socialism. Please, please, please stick to music. Your so good at it. Leave politics to the Weiner's of the world!

  • I completely admire, respect and revere this man's songwriting and guitar playing. I could be his biggest fan. As soon as he opens his mouth about politics he makes want the grab him by the shoulders and shake the bat crap out of him! What Dave is saying is so hypocritical and it really frustrates me ! Your making a living off of capitalism pure and simple. EVERYTHING you have you EARNED through capitalism. Nobody socialized the music industry so you could have a piece of somebody else's success

  • You'd be hard pressed to find a bigger DMB fan than I, but I do not share his political views about liberalism and socialism. And yet I can still LOVE his music and appreciate his talent and respect him. Why can't we do this more rather than be so divided?

  • @nkegolfer Do you mean "Stay or Leave"?

  • @flubberjibbel - Agree...I hope this time around he is less willing to align himself with this "miserable failure" of a president. If so, then I may continue to respect his music but certainly not his intelligence.
