A short documentary program I produced, directed and co-edited profiling the 'spoken word' great Ken Nordine. Ken was a contemporary of the beat poets, crafting whimsical, absurdist pieces of 'word jazz', even while becoming the leading voice over artist of Madison Avenue in the 60s and 70s. Featuring interviews with Tom Waits, Laurie Anderson, Billy Corgan, DJ Food and others.
I'm trying to guess which cafe you filmed Waits in..you rascal. I thought I new all the digs out there....
